Actuarial science × pricing strategy × commercial analytics

Turning pricing, data, and governance into measurable financial impact.

I am a pricing and commercial analytics professional with an actuarial science background. My work connects pricing engines, automation, P&L visibility, GMROI logic, actuarial capital budgeting and modelling, stochastic projection, and immunization strategies to create decision frameworks that align commercial performance with market dynamics, highlight value creation, and improve strategic execution.

About me

A technical profile built for business decisions.

01

How I think

I approach business questions through risk, return, margin, capital efficiency, and execution. I do not only report results; I try to understand the drivers behind them and convert them into a decision framework.

02

Where I create value

I build pricing engines, dashboards, automated flows, profitability views, scenario models, and governance tools that help teams protect margin, improve visibility, and react faster to market changes.

03

Where I am going

My long term direction is to support leadership at a broader institutional scale by linking ROI, risk, investment discipline, portfolio performance, and sustainable value creation across operating companies.

Education journey

The academic foundation behind the way I think.

My education journey started with engineering coursework in Canada and evolved into actuarial science in Australia. Together, they shaped how I connect structured problem solving, programming, business logic, financial modelling, economics, corporations, investments, and risk into practical decision frameworks.

Engineering coursework

Dalhousie University · Halifax, Canada

Early exposure to engineering thinking, quantitative problem solving, systems logic, and analytical discipline. This foundation helped shape the structured way I approach complex business and technical problems.

Bachelor of Actuarial Science

Bond University · Australia

The turning point in my professional foundation. Bond University exposed me to actuarial modelling, programming, business logic, economics, investments, risk, and corporate decision making, while mentors helped transfer the knowledge and wisdom needed to prepare us for the working market.

Graduating from Bond University to me, as Ahmed Zaki Yamani stated about Harvard: "anything else was just the fruits of that fact".

That experience shaped the way I see the actuarial role: not only as a technical profession, but as a bridge between economics, corporations, investments, financial risk, programming, and strategic execution. It taught me to use what I learned to become an extraordinary actuary who can help organizations understand value, risk, capital, and opportunity.

Career direction

What I want to achieve.

My ambition is to bridge technical analysis with executive decision making. I want to help organizations understand the true financial impact of their choices, not only at SKU or customer level, but across portfolios, sectors, business units, and long term strategy.

Executive visibility

Build reporting and modelling structures that move beyond dashboards into decision systems: what changed, why it changed, what the financial impact is, and which action should be taken next.

Risk balanced growth

Use actuarial and financial thinking to balance growth, pricing, capital efficiency, governance, and sustainability, especially where commercial decisions affect margin, working capital, and future performance.

Ambition & Strategic Direction

My long term ambition is to apply actuarial modelling, pricing strategy, capital discipline, investment thinking, and commercial analytics at a broader strategic level across corporates, holding groups, government entities, and ministries.

Capabilities

What I am able to do.

My toolkit combines actuarial methods, commercial analytics, automation, data modelling, and business partnering. The objective is practical: faster decisions, cleaner data, better governance, and stronger financial outcomes.

Pricing & margin

Pricing engines, price mix analysis, rebate and cost impact, margin leakage, UGP/GP visibility, and push or pullback recommendations.

Dashboards can be added later as a separate showcase section. For now, this page keeps the profile clean and focused on capabilities, career direction, experience, resume, cover letter, and personality.

Impact flow

How I work.

A practical workflow for turning messy business activity into visibility, discipline, and measurable financial value.

01

Analyse

Understand the business question, risk context, portfolio objective, and decision needed.

02

Centralize

Connect data sources, clean definitions, align logic, and create one repeatable source of truth.

03

Model

Build pricing engines, forecasts, GMROI views, margin analysis, and scenario simulations.

04

Optimize

Identify push, pullback, mix, cash flow, and margin protection opportunities.

05

Synergize

Align Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Commercial teams around the same logic.

06

Grow

Monitor impact, close gaps, improve governance, and support sustainable growth.
